1. Who we are

IT SkillForge ("we", "us", "the platform") is an independent educational technology platform providing learning content, interactive coding practice, exam preparation and teaching resources for A-level Computer Science, BTEC IT and AAQ IT students and teachers in the UK. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by AQA, OCR, Pearson, or any other awarding organisation.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • Students under 18 should have appropriate parental/guardian or school consent to use the platform, in line with school safeguarding policy.
  • Teachers are responsible for the conduct of classes they create and students they invite.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

3. Acceptable use

Use of the platform is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

  • Paid subscriptions and resource purchases are processed securely via Stripe.
  • Prices are shown in GBP inclusive of any applicable tax, and may be changed with reasonable notice.

5. Intellectual property

  • Original content on the platform (lessons, questions, resources) is owned by IT SkillForge or its content creators, unless stated otherwise.
  • Purchasing a resource grants you a licence to use it as described on the product page — it does not transfer ownership or copyright.
  • You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly republish platform content without permission.

6. AI features

Use of AI-assisted features is governed by our AI Use Policy. AI outputs may contain errors and should be verified.

7. Disclaimer

  • The platform is provided "as is". While we aim for high availability and accuracy, we do not guarantee the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • Content is designed to support learning and is not a substitute for qualified teaching, nor a guarantee of any particular grade or outcome.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, IT SkillForge is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
